The concept of the "inner child" refers to the childhood stages that have shaped your identity and values, leaving enduring imprints on you.

Perhaps you were physically abused, sexually mistreated, emotionally wounded, abandoned, teased, pressured, or neglected as a child.

As an adult, these past experiences may still impact you, as they've created limitations or challenges based on the experiences you learned in your youth.

Unfortunately, this inner child could still harbor hurt, fear, or feelings of being lost.

More often than not, they're seeking protection, love, and reassurance from your adult self.

Ignoring their needs only prolongs your own suffering.

To address this issue, try communicating with your younger self. - ask what they needed to feel safe and secure.

Use these insights to guide how you live now as an adult man; it might mean incorporating more playtime or family time into your life. It could involve asserting personal needs or defending against others' defamation attempts.

Acknowledging and healing the inner child is crucial for progress in both professional and personal domains.
