Recently, I shared an article about my life in Mexico that has received much positive feedback.

As many of you are aware, amidst the COVID pandemic three years ago, I left the U.S. for Colombia and continued through Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil before ending up in Mexico.

During these travels, I encountered many ex-pats who had built fulfilling lives abroad.

Living outside one's home country often comes with a warm and inviting community culture that provides a refreshing change from what we're accustomed to as citizens of the USA.

Being viewed as a U.S. citizen can also result in having high societal status since people from many countries hold us in high esteem.

The power of your U.S. dollars due to exchange rates will have your income stretching further than it did back home—meals costing merely $3 or $4 are just one example.

The benefits extend beyond financial gain; living abroad creates opportunities for rich cultural experiences and learning for not only yourself but also your children, if you have them—creating lasting memories as they expand their worldview while maintaining ties to their homeland.

Investment opportunities abound overseas too; booming real estate markets provide great potential returns that might be unknown back home.

But perhaps most importantly, there is a chance to find peace right now.

Escaping racial tensions or political strife prevalent in America allows you to prioritize your well-being without feeling like you've given up or sold out; this choice could be huge for brothers seeking success for themselves and their families.
