Many brothers were raised without their fathers, either physically absent or emotionally detached due to substance abuse.

This isn’t all brothers, as many of us had loving and present fathers or a combination of good and bad elements.

However, this unfortunate reality, stemming from slavery and the introduction of crack and other destructive elements into the Black community, continues to leave a damaging legacy today.

Consequently, even successful brothers earning significant incomes often grapple with internal unrest they can't pinpoint.

They haven't reconciled psychologically with their absent or abusive fathers—a phenomenon known in psychology as the father wound.

To heal this wound requires confronting one's inner child—referring to your childhood and teenage developmental stages.
