Dark-Skinned Brothers Winning Is Everyday

I deal with various shades of Black men in my line of work.
From light-skinned, to medium brown skinned, to dark-skinned.
from International brothers from Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad, to brothers from the States.
But occasionally, during our coaching sessions, I've had questions come up from a few dark-skinned brothers that I want to share with you today.
It's an important question, and I appreciate them asking it because it's something they're thinking about.
Their question is:
“Can dark-skinned brothers flourish in corporate America or as entrepreneurs and earn seven figures while preserving a work-life balance? I’ve seen light skinned brothers do what you're talking about, but what about me.”
They observe brothers who are medium-brown to light-skinned advancing in their careers and wonder if they can do the same or if they'll be held back.
These clients don’t have the luxury of seeing countless dark-skinned brothers succeed, as I do on a daily basis.
They don’t realize how many dark-skinned Black men are crushing the game because they simply don’t see it as much as I do.
However, to the dark-skinned brothers who have already made it—perhaps you're VPs, C-suite executives, or board members.
Maybe once upon a time you shared these concerns, or maybe it's something still on your mind, or maybe you've never considered it at all.
But now, having successfully navigated through the corporate world as a dark-skinned Black man yourself, such doubts may have faded.
However, I understand there are some of you out there who haven't yet reached your desired level of success and worry about discrimination impeding your progress.
To that concern, I say: Yes, I've seen highly successful dark-skinned brothers absolutely crushing it in corporate America every day.
Does that mean you won't face any obstacles due to discrimination?
As a client, you will have to answer that for yourself.
And whatever your answer is, I'll be happy to support you in winning anyway.
Some of the dark-skinned brothers I work with say racism isn't a problem or a factor, while others say, "Oh, it's real!"
What I can tell you with certainty is that I work with dark-skinned brothers from Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Haiti, Jamaica, and, of course, the United States, who are absolutely killing it professionally and you can too.
