Sharing what you learned lets your boss know that you are growing. "I used this new communication technique that gets more teammates to collaborate."
3. Value
Overtly share the value your activity brings to the organization. "The deal I closed brought in $20 million."
You might be passed up for a promotion because you aren't sharing essential information with your boss.
