The Black Executive Men Capital Network was founded by Jewel Love and Jay Holmes in 2024 with a bold mission: to assist one thousand Black men in private equity in achieving $1 billion AUM each. Since our founding, we’ve rapidly grown to over one hundred twenty members across the United States and the UK.

Our community offers quarterly, in-person regional mixers, creating opportunities for members to build deep connections and expand their networks. We also host a deal room where Black male GPs can showcase their deals to be funded, fostering collaboration and investment opportunities. Additionally, our open capital socials serve as a matchmaking platform between Black male GPs and institutional investors, ensuring that our members have direct access to capital.

Through monthly mastermind sessions on private equity education, exclusive fireside conversations, and transformative events like our New York and Miami cohorts, we’ve cultivated a powerful network of professionals committed to wealth creation and increasing representation in alternative investments.
